The vast majority of us MDs are miserable and pissed at Julie and her circle of sycophants. The two comments above are accurate.
Appreciate it P1 and A5.

Up a total of 11.5% in past 5 years… yikes
At the Senior Consultant level. Staying so I get my tuition reimbursement and trying to build my profile up so I can apply elsewhere later.
They reimburse you if you have gotten/get an MBA from a target or semi-target school.
I'm not at accenture anymore, but the opportunity is worth evaluating. Issues at MD level may have little impact in you deoending on your level. How does the level and money sound vs what you have now?
OP, I'm an M, but have seen many people say SM is the hardest level. You have to operate as a manager but also as a salesperson (read' MD).
You'd be coming in fresh, with little to no network, likely at the very back of the MD pipeline that is clogged given the few promotions over the last few years.
I don't think I would ever recommend a friend join at the SM level unless they got a significant pay bumb right now. It just doesn't make much sense. Everyone has lost faith in leadership, we have no strategy, our culture has deteriorated, pay has been stifled, bonuses are few and far between...
I've been applying for months trying to get out, and will continue to. And that's even tho I personally really like my leadership in song and like the work that I do.
It hasn't been great, I'm a newly promoted M- basically just want to finish my current project and maybe one more then start looking
How does the staffing work for the newly joiners? I hear it's a shit show and a lot of interviews to be placed on a project. Is that true?
Depends if the person/team you will be joining is respected and rising. If they are it's worth considering
