A month ago the recruiter said that they are waiting on some approvals and once it is done we will be issuing the offer letter but I haven't heard back any other update since then. I am an experienced hire. My case might just take you by surprise. I joined EY GDS 10 months back at 40% hike (leaving PwC) and now Deloitte (DIJV) is offering me 2 level up designation at Manager level with another 40% hike. I got an offer from Adobe and am currently serving my notice period. But in Adobe my joining is in Mid of September. So can I trust Adobe that they will honor the offer considering the recession in companies like Oracle, Amazon, and Microsoft?
