i had one as an intern, but i didn’t work in a city where real estate was expensive
i’m now like 6 years in and i don’t have my own office in NYC. or a dedicated desk. or a dedicated locker 😩
Sorry to hear!
It took way too long. Maybe 12 years. Had one ever since tho.
I had one at my first job but left after 10 months. I went to a job that had cubicles. Now my dining room table is my office.
One year and then in another company immediately. Smaller companies seem to give offices sooner. One place I would have been in a shared office until I reached the level of controller. But that was a publicly traded company and there weren’t a lot of individual offices in the building.
LOL. Depends more on the company
Depends on company more than YOE. I had one as an associate when I worked for a small CPA firm, now I’m a controller for a $3B AUM PE firm and don’t have my own space when I go in office lol.
I love being a remote worker so much lol
I had one at five years but lost it when hybrid became the new normal.
