After HR discussion , how many days it takes to release offer LTIMindtree

Just got the shaft on a regular component to the clients business, how can I handle next steps?

I'm the hiring mgr for designers in my org. I recently discovered pay band information given to me by the HR generalist I'm working with on hiring was outdated and updated bands had been released over the summer (prior to my hire date). The outdated information had led me to believe a prime candidate was out of range. Aside from incompetence, can anyone think of a reason why HR might have withheld information about the pay bands? I assume mgrs see the full monty when it comes to pay...right?

Working as Investment Banking Associate(15 months)
Roles:
• Creating detailed company profiles, pitch books, management biographies and
industry overview 
• Preparing biotech Newsletter on weekly basis for senior management for strategic advisory
• Relative valuation including comparable and precedent transaction analysis
• Preparing a potential investor/acquirer database by portfolio analysis

Weekend thought as many of us watch our portfolios bleed away value as the market hit all time highs: stick with it.
