After three years of non-stop product launches, I’m completely fried. I’ve considered asking for a sabbatical or even stepping into a different role. Not sure if that's what's right for my career or if I should just keep pushing. Anyone have personal experience they could share?

Just got an offer from PwC for 47.5K for SA role in Manchester. Feels kinda low considering everyone just got a 7%+ pay raise. Can anyone comment if this is in line or not? I was told this would put me above the SA band

Why do Big 4 firms interview you for a specific position level and then try to make you come in below that level...

That would be a lateral move for me in terms of level which be okay if at least it was a good pay increase but Their quoted pay range for the lower level would make it almost a lateral move financially too..

When requesting feedback I’m told I’m on the right path, no suggestions on what to improve. I asked about timelines for advancement and not being given anything concrete. Has anyone successfully moved out of claims into underwriting? I have been doing worker’s compensation claims for about 9 years now as an adjuster. I would really like to get into underwriting but have not had any success so far. What are some other roles I can transition to?

General corporate in NY looking to lateral into tech transactions at one of the EC/VC firms. I’ve heard that I may get a class cut if I make the move but I’m ok with that. My worry is that EC/VC firms are crazy busy work differently from general corp, I also won’t have control over my hours, and potentially worse based on how billing differs (block billing on a few clients vs having to work with 15 or more startups). Is the same true for tech trans or IP group?

At what point are you too specialized to lateral to internal audit? (PA, consulting, or industry roles) Currently have 2 years of external audit experience and 2 years of forensics: I always thought of internal audit as a decent exit but I’m beginning to get worried about getting too specialized to make that move one day
