I am surprised given that Spirit is so high on this list. Seems like this is based on absolute number of flights instead of on percentage of flights.

Read the scoring methodology in the article people. It’s math. Several areas from on time performance to mishandled bags to involuntary bumping were scored. Allegiant and Spirit may not be common in the consulting world (I know they don’t show up as preferred in the yellow or orange companies travel systems) but they are considered national carriers by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) who set a lot of the rules.
Bottom line: AA sucks. Delta flights are full because they respect operational reliability and on Flyday, they’re more likely to get you home somewhere close to on time, with your bag, and with a respectful and thankful for your business attitude. AAssholes will read you a 5 minute credit card speech so the flight attendant can score an extra $50 on your already delayed flight that they forgot to cater and put a fat fuck in the seat next to you.
I was just wondering how non-Delta loyalists perceive Delta. Curious to hear from those of you with status on AA and UA specifically.
@EY3 I'm sure it depends on the market, but I really don't think it's that different. I did about 2 years weekly on AA, a year and a half weekly on Delta, and now coming up on a year on UA. Delta was good, but the switch from AA to Delta didn't impress me nearly as much as expected. And the switch off Delta to UA didn't disappoint.
American sucks. I’m only surprised by United.
