The ability to learn a lot cross functional skills, training that makes you more marketable, cross industry experience (if not tied to specific industry), dynamic teams which allow you to network and get insights. Am experiences hire that got bored with industry and the knowledge silos you are relegated to, basically, consulting is where you grow, industry is where you retire.
More money, not doing the same thing every day, not waiting for someone to die to get promoted, building a broad network

Salary progression and bonus potential
I agree with you that it is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge base and network, but I am finding that the salary is the same, actually less when you factor in the number of hours.
Depends. I worked my ass off in industry and Deloitte pays much better. Not sure how ACN compares.
The number of hours argument is BS. Yes you might work 60 hours but let's say you make 120k. Your argument is if you work 40 hours you'd be okay with 80k? So if you work 60 and get paid 110k you feel like you would be losing out? 110 is a lot more than 80 in terms of living.
