I enjoy my park aves
Yeah, everyone
Any sales event soon? Gotta expand the collection
Mck1, I have park ave in oxblood, love them the most
The Fifth Ave is oxblood is extremely versatile. Can dress down or up with suits or jeans and match virtually any color
There are usually 2 shades of oxblood on a shoe. The darker shade is around the cap toe. The Clay Ave belt matches the darker shade and the Midland Ave belt goes with the lighter oxblood shade
Own 5 pairs of AE. I'd recommend the Park Avenues & Cambridge.
In Canada the Holt Renfrew collection of AE has some nice additions like already having a topy, and extra cork.
I have a pair of fifth aves and they are great
The best
Yes.
I have 7 pairs in my collection now. Park Ave, Fifth Ave, Carlyle and McCallister in different shades
Any favorites GT? In the market for another pair? Thinking about the oxblood
Oxblood shoes with navy, grey, charcoal suit a good match?
What belt do you wear with the oxbloods?
Usually a close shade of brown. I haven't purchased the oxblood belt AE has but there are ones that are available
Yes. If you need to wear dress shoes, those will help you fit in and stand out amongst slobs.
Thoughts on Strandmok Oxford? Seems a bit more casual - perhaps more versatile
I have two pairs that I’ve worn for years and love them. But I’m really disappointed how the quality has gone down, even more so since they got acquired by Caleres. The heels are cheaper and they appear more sloppily made.
I’m switching to higher end brands now such as Cobbler Union, Crockett & Jones, etc
