Hi guys, I am looking for a change after 11 years serving in the current organization. I have total 13 yrs exp. with only 13 LPA as I am in the same organization and didn't switch. With EY in the HR discussion they stated 19.4 LPA fixed, but I requested for 20 LPA fixed (though the difference is not much). The HR stated they may need to take approvals and the call ended. Do you know whether they will come back? How many days usually it takes HR to come back? It's the 3rd day almost.

Can someone explain what is the diff bw Assurance and Consulting?

I joined a project that had already started and the team already settled on creating a user journey map, even though none of them are designers or in ux. I also have no experience in this field as I'm a data engineer. The user journey map was for mapping out the process for tenants finding housing assistance, so not a technical product. Given this new field and type of work, I've been having a really tough time. Anyone mind sharing what helped get you through your first ux project?

My LWD in Wipro (my previous employer) was on 21 Aug, 2021. I was waiting to receive my outstanding due and experience certificate, as part of F&F, ever since. However, I received an email from the offboarding team today stating that my Final Settlement is on on hold due to security concerns (DLP: data leakage). How is this going to play out? And much longer will it take before my F&F process is completed and I get my outstanding due and my experience certificate? Pls advice.

I know there is a lot of politics at big four and have no interest staying in a senior manager role for 6-8 years and risk a chance of still not becoming partner. Could someone explain what finance closing process is? I passed CPA and have audit experience but I don’t really understand how industry accounting cycle works :( What does it mean to close the books? Are they referring to 12/31 deadline? Do all JE have to be recorded within this date? How does one close it?

Only senior on a demanding client, managing multiple staff and managers. I really like my team and the work but I’m starting to lose motivation and burn out after the long time being the only one in my position here... and I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but feels like I don’t get fairly paid for the amount of time and effort I put in... any advice to get out of this negative mindset?
