I am looking for any referrals in audit/ advisory firms. I have worked in 3 of the big four audit firms and currently working in Canada in the financial services industry (head office in Boston).
I have 15 years experience in the financial services industry and worked in various countries.
Looking to move to USA. I am Canadian citizen and holds CIA (USA), CPA Canada, ACCA UK.

I’ve worked in Finance for a few years now and have just received my ACCA chartership, however I’m wanting to move into project management - what is a good way of making this transition /what certifications are the most important to obtain?

Does anyone know about the IAAP diploma in IFRS?

IAAP is an awarding body in UK.

My doubt is, does the value of the certificate of IFRS change depending on the Institution?

Will a person who cleared IFRS from IAAP have same value as a person who cleared IFRS from ACCA?

So, I've been thinking alot and did quite some research but would really love some insight (Accounting vs Fund Accountant)
As a newbie to accounting (completed my graduation and am currently halfway through ACCA), I've worked 3 years in accounting and account operations (AR, AP, Reconciliations, accruals, prepayments etc) and wanted to check out the other side of the coin in Finance.

I recently came across a role of Fund Accountant and wanted to really know what the day to day work looks like

What are some good exit opportunities from restructuring? Is it possible to get into M&A etc once qualified ACCA?

People who did ACCA after CA. What is the cost effective method to do ACCA from India. Does ACCA partners offer any subsidized subscription to Indian students? Or is there any benefit passed through Approved coaching centers. Also for Indian CA's whether doing ACCA as regular is better or professional pathway for CA professionals is better?

Any ACCA students register for an exam using the new website? No combo of dates or locations ever works under 'Add Exam'.

So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me. I have a whole bunch of certifications in my industry…but just no formal degree. (cont'd)

Is the CPA designation worth it? For me it would take me 1 year of PREP courses and 2 years of PEP until i can write the CFE. And I am 27 years old right now. Also wondering if it would be crazy to pursue the CPA while learning how to code to be a developer as well?

Despite failing or losing parts of the CPA exams, let's not forget we still got promoted and some increase in pay.

Deloitte FL/PR is turning into a joke.. if firm morale wasn't already suffering from layoffs, they increase minimum hours through December while half the offices are unassigned. Abandon ship.
