Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

It's complete WFH.
Tech stack is spring boot and microservices.
Is it a product based company or a service based company?
How wlb will be in Capita plc?
I have been offered 6A band as senior software engineer, so is 22LPA fair compensation?
Thanks in advance.

Congrats!
Do some research on being a people leader and a servant leader
Always assume positive intent
Lead by example
Be inquisitive, don’t assume
Be fair and consistent while also holding people and your team as a whole accountable
Your team is the experts of their roles, ask them for their advice before making decisions (when you can). Sometimes they have way better ideas
There’s a million more things I could say …
Dont become too friendly with them . Keep all convo on a professional level.
Think about all of the things you wish you had/will have in your own report/manager relationships. Then gather the courage to be that person. Don’t/stop thinking of the things you have been told you need to do, the model person you need to emulate, what the “Manager” looks like, and just… be.
To be very frank, when I first started managing, I had a major case of imposter syndrome. And then.. I just kind of relaxed into it. Unconsciously and then more consciously, I operated on the thought of “do everything that they didn’t.” And it has only served me well. More than well. Be yourself. Be honest, and be genuine. Speak like you, not like a robot, or someone regurgitating things from the mandatory training or the company handbook emailed out.
I don’t know about you, but, and though I have and might try… I posses zero ability when it comes to pretending. Simply can’t. I am entirely transparent, say when I don’t know something, give hard facts, and am always truthful and genuine with my reports, in all regards, no matter what. They are people to me, never numbers, or names on timesheets.
Managing multiple people is very different from managing one direct. So is managing anyone who is a manager if you happen to be in that situation. Every company is different, I think it’s a good idea to see if you can speak with any other managers in your team and get their thoughts. You don’t need to reinvent the wheel
