What are employee referral bonuses where you work for a senior associate? Looking to test the waters at other firms but would like to also see if I can work out deals with friends on splitting a bonus
Hi Fishes, I applied for a role in Accenture. Gave the skill assessment test and also the technical interview. After the interview, the HR called within one week and asked for the details and expected CTC. I gave the required information. But after that the portal is still now showing as Interview/Interviewing. On checking with the person I got referral, I got to know that they are saying that I haven't attended my skill assessment. There might be any glitch. What should I do as of now?
Anybody interview at Stripe for non tech roles? Just sent in written assignment portion and wondering if that’s the last step in the process. Already met with hiring manager. Thanks! Stripe
Guys I have a huge problem. How do you make decisions? Especially when you're presented with multiple mixed bag of choices? Its what I'm struggling with lately for choosing a company to join. Btw, I have an enormous list of pros n cons YET it's difficult deciding based on short-term and long-term goals. I "need" a challenging role but also enough WLB for a good CTC. How do you decide what to accept and what to let go/sacrifice? It was fine for first 4 yrs of work, now I think shit's getting real
Hi 👋🏻 I’m new here! For people working in big 4 risk assurance, how many clients do you generally juggle at a time and how many hours do you typically work in a week? I just started a few months ago in an IA role for a company after working in external audit. I like the work, but it’s just not a great culture fit and I’m thinking of boomeranging back to public but for IA to get more of that experience.
Started work at Accenture a month ago. I was interviewing for McKinsey at the same time and have just now got an offer. I want to leave Accenture. But will it show up on my Background check that I left? I never had Accenture on my resume to start with so not planning on putting it down. Assuming HireRight will be used for the background check.
Any advice for someone looking to transition into a full HR Generalist role from Recruiting. I’m currently a Campus Recruiter with about 5 years of HR experience (Coordinator- Higher Ed). I received my PHR certification in September 2020 and sitting for my SHRM-CP in two weeks. I’m having a hard time transitioning into a full Generalist position.

Hey everyone, I am a current rising college senior coming from a no target school. Since my sophomore year, I’ve wanted to work at Goldman Sachs. Now that the applications are almost open for next year’s new analyst roles. I’m really interested in applying in their internal audit and risk division. Has anyone ever interviewed with GS or done their hirevue? I would love to hear some tips on how I can boost my chance of getting interviewed. Any tips would be greatly appreciated
How does disclosing our disability status in job apps impact our chances of getting interviewed?
Can anyone speak to, at a high level, what interviews for CSG group at Director / SD look like? Engagement Lead.
Seems like this is a good place to get a reality check on what I am looking for in a position. I am trying to leave my current firm. I am a Senior Tax Accountant. Been the only Senior for a year. Currently make $76k. Had a bonus of $4500 this year. Not sure what the bonus is going to be next year (or if there will be any) since they are moving to a new bonus plan that is supposed to be more "fair and generous" We have a Safe harbor 401k plan. So get an automatic 3% contribution to 401K.
I’ve exited to industry (w/ 8 years of experience) and entered a toxic workplace where I’m berated and gaslighted by people ranked below me due to the seniority of my role for my age. Upper management is too busy to prioritize my issues. I’ve been at this company for almost two months, should I put the current company on my resume when applying for other positions? How would I explain this to recruiters and interviewers?
Given telephonic interview in CTS last month, and clearef that round Technical panel told that HR will contact you but no one contacted as of now. Is there any one else facing these issue. Its normal, that CTS will take time to get back?
I’ve been in my current role for 9 months but am actively interviewing for roles at a 50%+ pay increase. I just received a promotion and won’t know comp until 10/5 but know it’s nowhere close to the other positions. Is it wrong to leave so close to being promoted? Will I burn bridges?
As a Christian (who is respectful and supportive of all religions but am happy I found something that resonates with me) I never understood the "religious exemption" towards vaccine mandates. If you dont want to get vaccinated, thats on you but please don't bring religion into the equation.
My firm merged and I have to take my money out of old 401k plan. I have option to roll over into an IRA. Can one roll over to an IRA even if he would be ineligible for an IRA under normal circumstances?
Ready to walk away without an exit. Wife and I are comfortable with allocating 6-9 months of savings to find my inner peace and a new job. Any tips?
Culture/workload/hours between B4 vs mid-tier?
I graduated with my bachelor's in HRM and I'm wondering if there are any certifications or trainings I could do before I lock down on the SHRM-CP. I recently became HIPAA certified for my company and that got me thinking about what else I could do to add to my resume. Looking for good stepping stone certificates.
Urgent: Wanted to understand key differences between EY India and EY GDS. I know generic differences but which is better along the lines of: 1. Financial growth opportunities (hikes/bonus) 2. Duration to stay in the same role (example would I have to stick to same client for multiple years or when can I switch client) 3. Senior Management 4. WLB 5. Is it easier to move from India to GDS or vice versa? Getting Tech Consultant Senior 1 in GDS vs Data Science Senior in EY India. 5YOE/Data Science

SOX - I’m senior associate and applying for accounting manager role that talks about being involved with SOX requirements. Is this difficult or is this easy to learn?
Yesterday I felt hopeful for the first time in years. Caught myself smiling which I never do. Was feeling encouraged. That all went down the drain today. Feeling extremely down and back to my regular cadence of begging god to kill me. Nothing even happened today. Thanks for reading.
