I have no consulting experience and I have accepted an internship offer at an advertising firm for this summer. What steps would you advise me to take to get into consulting? Also, I get to pick between strategy and accounts for the internship - would either be more useful?

More context I aim for more roles in wealth & assets management or commercial / institutional investments either states side or Latin American, speaking Spanish Portuguese. 

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Got an offer from pwc in the data privacy role.
With 13.5 Lpa currently i’m at 12 and made switch on march.
Though my current company is an mnc but not that big and no work pressure is there, amazing work life balance. However, there is little to no learning and its very slow, the project is just starting and the client itself is not clear what they want. Do you think I should switch just because its a big 4. Does anyone have the 2020 SHRM books for sale or to borrow? My job won’t contribute towards my certification. I’ve already paid for my test. I have the books from 2015 but I’d like to study from the 2020. I tried finding them online to purchase but sellers of affordable books aren’t responding.

I’m a Junior at Colgate University and have been heavily searching for a summer 2022 internship since October of 2021. I have had countless networking calls with various alumni in different professions and have learned plenty of great information, but have not gotten lucky enough to find an internship. However, LinkedIn messages have failed to successfully get me an interview to talk with someone from this field. I am having 7+ years of experience and I have also done my MBA 3 years back. Wanted to know what CTC I should ask for if my current CTC is 17 LPA for a BA role

How do people get interview call from Accenture Strategy & Consulting? I am an MBA from tier 2, 5 YoE post MBA in Financial Risk. Currently working with a Big 4.

I have an offer from KPMG, and I am in talks with collabera, they are offering about 35% hike which will be 100% hike from my current ctc, while KPMG offers 65% on my current ctc.

KPMG is a research and stakeholders management role and collabera offers strategy role including working direct with VP.

I know the company is pretty small when company to KPMg, should I proceed with the interview?
