Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Don’t. Abuse of “emotional support animals” is having some major effects on real ADA- compliant service dogs. I can’t stand people who use emotional support animals as a loophole because they want their dog.
Go online and get a pet therapist certification . You can get it overnight with some online websites. You would need to have proper paperwork (through the website) and call the airline in advance, but it so easy. I don’t get why people are giving you shit about this. Evryone should mind their own business. If you’re not a pet owner than i don’t expect you to understand
You need a letter from your therapist. The airline will provide a template with all the info they need and you have to submit the paperwork at least 48 hrs in advance of your flight.
Dog has to fit in your lap or by your feet, and you can’t sit in exit row.
You can get the dog on for free and still keep them in their crate under seat so this doesnt happen.
Also your friend is the reason we have to pay for dogs.
Handicap parking placards can be bought online too
A4 I'm a dog owner and think this fake registration is disgusting too. I think people in civilized society have an obligation to other members of that society to not take advantage of each other or abuse policies meant for a small percentage of the population that need a little extra support. People like you who act like the world is theirs to pillage really piss me off.
EY2 and ACN4 are the worst people. Few things more insufferable than people who break laws for no better reason than not wanting to pay for something.
Also, you can GTFO with your “mind your damn business” argument. Actual service dogs are trained to a higher level than your standard issue EY/ACN analyst. They aren’t going to cause a scene on the plane. Unlike your untrained lap dog that is going to be a potential liability to all those around you.
And I have a dog. I love him almost as much as I love my daughter. Doesn’t change the fact that I don’t want to buy fake service dog shit to travel with him.
Just truly disgusting people all around.
ACN4, here’s the TL;DR. Airlines generally don’t accept pets as checked bags for the reasons you mentioned. That comment of yours is irrelevant. Bringing it onboard costs money. You don’t like paying that money so instead steal the service by fraudulently claiming a disability. You and the OP have admitted guilt. Your protests that emotional support animals are real things are irrelevant because you’re not claiming yours is
Emotional support animal?
Get a letter from your doctor or therapist with their letterhead.
So sick how people abuse things meant for people with actual disabilities. My mom has a deep seated fear of dogs as well as significant dog allergies. Now there are like five fake service dogs on every flight and it causes her significant stress while flying. Whiny dogs have been far more disruptive in recent flights than babies have been.
A4: because it becomes my business when the plane is overrun with unnecessary animals, and it's also my business when my friends and colleagues who are actually disabled face hurdles because of fakers like OP.
I am a pet owner. I pay for proper care. Some people like to steal — I understand why, but I have no sympathy
You guys should really read the news more often to put things into perspective. There are far more worse things in life than people bringing their dog on a plane ride that is usually shorter than 12 hours at max or living with a pet to exempt costs. A lot more corruption and injustice in this world than this😫
My advice is that the OP not engage in the morally reprehensible — and quite likely criminal — activity indicated. And I similarly advise all others who might be considering the same. Nor will I aid or abet said conduct
what is TRULY disgusting is how narrow people's perception of their surroundings can be. It has nothing to do with "not wanting to pay for something" for some people. Have you ever tried traveling with your pet? Did you know that placing a pet beneath the plane can cause them so much stress that it can be life threatening? Pets have died in the cargo due to the conditions beneath the plane and some people don't want to lose something that is so important to them and that they may love as much as a child just because they MUST or need to travel with their pet. That is why some people want their pet to sit on their lap where it can be more comfortable and safer. That is also why sometimes this requires getting an emotional support certification which isn't cheap online (FYI) just to ensure their pet's safety.
Traveling with an emotional support dog is a legitimate thing btw. They also arent suppose to be trained to the level of a service dog so your expectation of their behavior is dillusional. Service dogs help perform tasks to their owner. Emotional support dogs dont do that.
Im shocked that ppl still argue about the liability it can cause. I shouldn’t remind ppl any animal or human can be liability to anyone anywhere.😫
I only hope that next time ppl make an assumption about someone they might consider they may have had to make a difficult decision and that they may be doing it as a last resort. This isn’t to justify their actions, but at least show compassion or empathy or slight understanding 😫
... and the reason people are so offended isn’t because this is the most critical issue in the world, it’s the casual entitlement that gets people’s backs up
Yep. EY2 is right. All of us who don’t think they should lie and steal are Nazis.
Totally makes sense
^nope. Ive never gotten a doctor to write me a false statement about an ailment I don’t have, or order knockoff official-looking gear so that I can flat out lie to a company and pretend to have a disorder that I don’t all because I was too cheap to board my dog / have the dog fly under the airplane.
I try not to be a trashy person. It’s not as fun, but it seems to work fine
SC1, I’m sure I have, but I wasn’t deluded enough to think I was justified or that society should justify my choice.
Sorry your feelies are hurt. Just remember next time a screaming baby was subsidized by my dog
what ^ said lol. all your dog needs is service dog clothes. don’t think an actual certification is required.. haven’t had any problems
