Any favorite resorts (ideally NOT all inclusive) in Mexico or Caribbean that are part of the Marriott / Bonvoy family?

Thinking of using points for a “mini-moon” next May after my wedding.

JW Marriott Cancun was very nice! Very easy to get around to restaurants, staff were amazing and view was incredible. I seem to remember thinking it was cheap on points for what you got.

💯

Zadun and JW in Cabo are nice.

St Regis Punta Mita. Been there three times and it’s amazing. I’ve been to the StR near Cancun as well, also nice but I like the punta mita area a lot better.

We are staying at the Cancun Westin Lagunamar during Thanksgiving. It is not AI.

Looks amazing! Much cheaper than JW prob but JW is probably better.

If you book right now, I can get you into a hotel named city express by Marriott in Cancun for a total of $451.00 with taxes included. Compared to Expedia and hotels.com you’ll be saving over $1,400.00

funny

City Express hotels are not nice. Don’t stay at any of them, esp for a family vacation

We are going to the JW Marriott in Cancun Friday as a family and the reviews and weather look fantastic. I was also impressed at the rates…$310/night all taxes/fees included.

Westin Grand Cayman
Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba

In general, point redemptions at these properties aren’t great.

Marriott Puerto Vallarta, we've been going 4-5x a year for the past 5 years. It's 5 minutes from the airport, has a million restaurants/bars across the street in the marina, and 15 minutes from downtown

Just can't beat the short flight from TX, closeness of the hotel from airport, and gives resort-vibes while also a million other restaurant options right outside.

It is definitely not all-inclusive yet, the rumors are floating around but based on the pricing they had for it as optional previously, we'll likely still pick it.

First year trainee here. Having the standard wobbles but generally surviving.

My question is - how can I tell if I'm doing well? More specifically, what common and avoidable mistakes (specific or general) do trainees make, and what attitude or actions impress you?

Recently overheard some associates complaining about another trainee and now I have the fear... I want to get this right. Thanks in advance.

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.
