You must be new here. You never do not get boned by Uncle D.
Get boned
Easy D!
Forget utilization. All that matters is getting the number of billable hours to hit your target. Period
That's fucked
So I found there is actually JDY. Wondering if it adjusts my utilization so I don't get boned. Otherwise I'll just take like 7 weeks of PTO
PTO also decreases your utilization, I think
The two are the same thing guys @D2 and @D4
No, that's all I got but maybe worth checking with yours too! No one else was any help at all. @D2
What EY doesn't given you some vitamin D here and there?
Same with bereavement or so I have been told
It does but I'm asking if JDY adjusts my required client service hours. As in would 1 week of JDY move my requirement from 1850 to 1810 for the year? Certain codes do this but they don't explain.
Yup- D4 is right. If they made those adjustments for everyone, it would be very hard to track
Correct - you will get screwed by jury duty if you can't work and bill hours. A few weeks ago I almost got put on a two week murder trial. Was so thankful my juror number didn't get called and I could go back to work.
Hmm I ended up getting a reply from my resource manager who said that the hours of JDY are reduced from your client hour target for the year. It sounds like we actually don't get hurt by it.
Mine is after metrics reset, starts late March
D1 - I can't stop laughing. Thinking of all my Deloitte friends right now. 😂
Lovely
ORT. That has jury duty
If that's the case good to know for the future
