I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY

I don't think you can go wrong with a Macbook or a Lenovo, I would just choose which laptop you're most comfortable with. what have you most often used in past work experiences? go with the norm, don't try something new, I would say!
I bought a Lenovo because one it was compatible with the Canvas software, Tableau and Power Bi. There are Mac versions for all but Power Bi. But i found that the Mac versions didn’t always give the correct results which was very frustrating. The second thing is, most businesses use Think Pad or Pc so docking stations are compatible and i didn’t have to have duplicate hardware for work.
Lenovo's are literally indestructable and I swear by them. I have had the one I have for over ten years and while it has slowed down alot, it still works like a charm.
Unless you're wedded to Apple for some reason, you'd be better off going with a Windows machine. It's just going to be more compatible, no matter what comes along. It may not be as fashionable, but it has practicality on its side. A friend recently got an Acer with an i7 chip I thought was pretty nice, I was thinking of checking those machines out myself.
