What do you like most about your current job? What are the reasons you want a change? What are your long term goals? Knowing what makes work enjoyable for you is key. For example I love working on projects. I hate it when my job is the same every day. I like working on high pressure items with deadlines. I know other people that are the opposite and want to become an expert in a topic and do similar work everyday. Some people like o lead others and some are best as individual contributors.
