I recently left the Army about a year ago. Did a DoD SkillBridge fellowship and accepted the full time offer because I was scared of not having a paycheck. About a year later, still at the company and I hate it. Don’t feel purpose and I’m working with recent college grads as my peers. How do I get a job that takes advantage of my experience, whereas mine currently views me as starting over?

I am a Chartered accountant and truth be told given the current times CA is a really low incentive education any potent person can get. Today I see engineers barely with a few years of experience earning lakhs per month. Whereas me despite being in the right place at the right time is working hard 10-11 hours each day even today. Any recommendations for really good sound machines to completely block out loud noise? I live in the North End and am so angry…loud drunk assholes yelled in the street last night and woke me up (even with my loud AC on which typically blocks out most noise) and it took me forever to fall back asleep and sleep quality was terrible because I was on edge.

I'm a software engineer, and I've been working remotely for my entire career. I love the flexibility and autonomy that remote work gives me, but there have definitely been times when it's been hard to feel like I'm on an even playing field with my colleagues in the office.

I am curious how other inclusion teachers are being utilized when the school is doing remote learning. I find that I am sitting in the zoom class and have very little opportunity to contribute.
