Any insights into these legal engineer roles at legal AI companies such as Harvey and Legora?

I assume it’s like customer success roles where you maintain relationships with firms or sales where you sell to law firms or companies

like

At Legora it’s more like consulting than actual engineering

Makes sense. I doubt any legal engineer roles are actual engineering and building the product, right? We aren’t tech product specialist or software engineers

So perhaps it’s a little of all of the above. Potentially not a bad exit for those who don’t want to practice law long term but I worry about the long term 5-10 year play of these roles

I have 9 years of experience and working in EY GDS with a fixed salary of 35lpa. I have received an offer from EY UK and they have offered 65k pounds. I know it’s less but please let me know if that’s okay given the fact that my wife has an offer of 50k pounds.

Do you think you and your significant other should have similar personalities? My significant other and I are doing long distance and I feel like when I FaceTime with him, I emote more and show interest by asking more questions but from his end, he doesn’t always have a reaction or just nods, and it makes me feel like he’s uninterested. On his end he sees it as he’s comfortable.

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? TIA!
