Ey work life balance
Got an offer for a sales applications manager role at Cisco and a Strategic AE role at Amazon - both are basically the same pay (130~ base, 220 OTE)
I don’t have any friends at either company so I was curious if anyone has experience and can shed some light on culture/ work life balance to help me make a decision? Thanks for the help guys!

... any remaining breakfast dishes, light pickup of kids stuff, and general air cover while makes dinner and gets 3 kids to bed?
Do nannies or college kids seek these roles? How often do they turnover?
We did this for a little over a year while my wife was pregnant with our third and the ensuing newborn stage.
Ours was a high school student; our preschool is actually a program ran by the high school and she was one of the teacher assistants. So we had some familiarity with her and knew she was really interested / good with kids.
The biggest benefit was activity pickups / drop offs for our 5 year old - much easier than getting the other ones packed up and in the car, less worry about nap / feeding schedules, etc.
The main ‘issue’ was that ours really didn’t like watching more than one kid at a time. So sometimes felt like we weren’t getting that much leverage when everyone was in the house
Arrangement ended when she left for college; didn’t replace because we had gotten more comfortable with the routine with 3 kids and had problems finding anyone that willing to keep a pretty regular schedule.
Would consider again when the second is in preschool next year and we get to know a new crop of student assistants
That is one of my concerns. Finding someone for so few hours. Half the year, it’s like 7 1/2 hours per week just for school and day care pick ups. The other half of the year, when I’m traveling, it would be that plus air cover until 8 PM Tuesday and Wednesday. So 11.5 hours
I think you would essentially have to “guarantee” the higher number of hours (or close to it) each week, and then play with how they are distributed based on your travel schedule
