Not sure what you mean by HBS mock interview…
TBH, the benefit of an MBA consultant is probably marginal to null once you get an HBS interview and everyone interviewing basically has the same fears/questions regardless of whether they use a consultant. You can also pay for specific HBS interview practice from admissions consultants if you really want. They are typically less expensive than school packages and more aligned with hourly rates.
Unlike other schools with set behavioral questions found on google that alumni or current students repeat, HBS interviewers are only adcoms or paid professional HBS interviewers who ask questions specifically crafted for you.
The best thing you can do is know yourself, know your industry/country if international, and know why HBS is the best school for you.
1. Download and re-read your app to try and anticipate perceived gaps/questions.
2. Re familiarize yourself with trends/challenges/norms/leaders in your industry
3. Ask a friend or an acquaintance with tangential knowledge of your industry to read your app and make questions or do a practice interview. Feel free to buy them dinner or at least coffee for their time.
4. Get comfortable under pressure. If you realize you say something wrong or stupid, learn to either correct quickly or keep going rather than dwell.
5. Make sure you have an answer for “why HBS” or the time at the end when the interviewer asks “is there anything else you want to talk about?”
