Got into GSB as a deferred admit and unsure of when/if/how to tell my manager and team that I’ll probably be leaving in 2-4 years to get an MBA. I just joined a private equity firm as an analyst and there’s not much employee turnover/people leaving for an MBA...thoughts on how to approach this?

Hi All, just sharing what on mind to vent it out from my system. Maybe with this I could gain some insights and inspiration.
I have been working as a data scientist since 2018 & have been the bread winner. I have neither been under a proper mentor nor with a team of peers from my field to help me out. I was alone and confused. I have never really got the chance to prove myself which makes me all the more depressed. I'm not sure what to do with my future, indecisive and low on confidence.

Anyone feel general anxiety that you won’t be successful? Seems like most people climb the ladder or reach career success in some way or another but it’s pretty intimidating just starting out

I received a call for Engagement Manager position with AWS. Even though I have the JD for the same, it appears kind of cluttered, with lots of Agile flavour thrown in, hence reaching out to the audience to understand what exactly this role entails?
Is it a sales oriented role, is P & L an integral part of being an Engagement Manager with AWS?

Question! I just moved(transferred) to another team of my company and received new title, graphic & creative services. I was a senior graphic designer at the previous team. What do you think about my new title? I know that title is not a big thing but why I feel like my title is downgraded here… Good thing is my jobs here at my current team are what I really wanted to do. This is amazing. So I'm a bit scared want to make the pivotal to tech after my MBA but noticing a huge difference in Consulting salary (165k) and tech (133k). Does RSU help cover the gap?

I am unable to manage my work and GMAT preparation. I work in IT Risk Advisory and the work culture (India 🙄) and hours are crazy (10-12 hours avg). I am behind my targets as per my study plan (targeting ~750) - can only manage to get in 1-2.5 hours of prep daily/alternate days, I try to study on weekends but it's difficult as I am burnt out from the work. Need advice from people who have faced and cracked this. I like my work and would prefer to grow and be a top performer as well

If I’m applying to top 15 programs as a sponsored student, what GMAT score is a minimum for “good enough” to get in? 650?

I work in deals and am frankly frustrated that those with 9-5s can get better GMAT scores with their schedules while I have to work around an unpredictable schedule at 80 hrs/week.
