I have an offer for a company abroad. Originally they wanted me to fly out and start the day after Thanksgiving (not celebrated in their country), but because of the holidays I suggested starting in either December or January with the ability to take some holiday days in December to fly back home for Christmas. They then proposed starting out remotely “as soon as possible” in the US as a contractor and then moving abroad to start full time abroad. (Cont)

Anyone hiring those who have been out of work for a year? I took time off to tend to personal matters, but I am now looking to get back into the workforce again. My previous experience includes time at B4 audit up to senior level and then transitioned to manager in industry. Senior/manager roles are preferred.

Planning a one-week summer vacation to Yellowstone Park area. Family unit of 6, so need to rent a single, large SUV. Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)
