Short Rant: Got a referral for an AWS role, when I got the HR email to complete my candidacy 2 days later I was rejected without any type of phone screening or anything.

Especially when I met more than 90% of the requirements (entry level position) & I work in the field they are looking for. I am so perplexed & feel stupid.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? I thought it was very hard for a referral to NOT at least get a screening call. What did (or didn't) I do right.

I’ve dealt with ADHD my entire life, although was just diagnosed last year. Throughout my career (assurance>industry>consulting), I’ve been able to “outwork” everyone else in the office to counter the lack of focus and other associated faux pas associated with the disorder. Recently have hot a point where I can’t put in the hours (3 yo/fam), and my work has taken a major hit. Anyone in consulting/assurance have any methods for managing this when it comes to PM duties?

Is it crazy to go from $330k total comp in consulting to $240k total comp in corporate strategy at a F50? Base would be about the same in both roles. Till yesterday, my job status on Barclays portal was job offered. In evening, I got a mail saying congratulations on your offer & they have asked to click on the Barclays portal link and to accept the offer within 5 days, I did the same, now job status has been changed to offer accepted. But I didn't get Offer Letter via Mail. Guys, Do I need to wait for offer Letter or the one which I have accepted on portal is the same?
