I was a Manager at a Big4 doing PM fed work earlier this year. I decided to join a small firm to pursue cloud sales. However, the position is extremely technical in nature and I'm required to speak tech ( kubernetes, openshift, CICD) to potential clients.
While I have learned from the exposure, I dont intend to continue in a tech role & looking to exit. I'm thinking of Customer/ Partner Success Manager roles with one of the CSPs. Are there other non tech cloud exit opps in industry to consider?

When people refer to e-commerce exits they are typically referring to platforms like amazon. If I’m more interested in working for an e-commerce store/seller rather than a platform is there a better term for this so I can research better?

I’ve seen post MBA PE exists from MBB, but what are the VC exit ops like? Does MBB help? How easy/hard to get partner track without operating or startup experience? What about for later stage stuff like growth equity? (Not interested in PE).

How common are credit checks for roles in accounting or finance positions? Will high utilization on credit card balances and low credit score be a deal breaker? I’ve been irresponsible and made mistakes, but wondering if I can switch jobs now or if I’m best off waiting 1-2 years and cleaning up my credit first.

MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company? After I reached out on Friday on headcount update, if HR doesnt respond after few days should I not follow up anymore and move on or follow up once more even if they dont respond?
