Any tips for earning CPEs to maintain a cybersecurity cert? I have ISACA membership but there’s almost nothing coming up in terms of events. New to this whole thing so wondering what else I should be looking at. (Based in Canada)

I’m on the consulting side (FDD) and I’m curious if there are PE firms with good WLB. I’m happy with my pay, growth, and hours. PE interests me but I don’t understand why anyone would want to consistently work 65+ hours a week every week. What’s the appeal? Making double the pay? What’s the exit plan?

Why is it so difficult to make the next career move within your OWN company. I have over 7 years of experience across multiple departments and yet an external company is more willing to give an interview to select roles than your own home company for the same role internally!!
