Hi fishes,
Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

I’ll let you in on the best kept secret in advertising. Once an offer is made, the power shifts from the employer to the candidate. Especially in creative roles. Us CD’s hate recruiting. So when you finally found your person and told HR to make an offer, the last thing you want to do is go back to the drawing board. So, if the candidate counters with a reasonable amount or asks for a signing bonus, they’ll usually get it. The only reason they wouldn’t is if budget is already completely maxed. So, if they reject, don’t push it unless you’re ready to pass.
Thank you so much! Very helpful
Most people are too soft to negotiate so when you do lay the law down and you’ll get what you want — plus make more than your peers
Related topic: I gave my notice (my job recently changed, I'd never made any unmet demands or anything like that) and my current place countered me with a better package. The new place seems unwilling to budge. I've seen other people successfully stay at my company, but the company has seen better days. Is it stupid to accept the counter?
