Recently got prescribed meds at the age of 30. It’s helped out a good bit with focus and energy throughout the day.
Yup. I take 60mg of Vyvanse every morning.
Adderal , set a timer for focused time like 1 hr focused, 5 min break to get up or play on your phone. Keep a note pad and write down to dos that come up mentally that do not apply to what you are currently working on. wear earbuds and listen to some music to avoid distraction. I also end each day making a prioritized to fo list to get the next day started.
Vyvanse 30mg in the AM
Adderall 10mg in the PM
That's the magic of ADHD 😂 You conk out at the end of the day like anyone else. Stimulants have the opposite effect on people with ADHD.
I’ve had it since kindergarten. 1. Adderall XR (12 hour) 2. Ritalin 3. Vyvanse in order of most to least preferable. Vyvanse in my experience doesn’t do a whole lot. If it’s a very long day. Take the adderall XR when you wake then Ritalin IR (immediate release) at 8:30pm or so if it’s going to be a long night. That’ll cover you for 16 hours. You’ll basically turn into a machine. It may take a little extra awareness to focus (like putting phone or distractions away - removing alerts like for fishbowl), but the drugs honestly take care of things by about 90%. So you are pretty well in the realm of normal by that point.
Medication helps a lot - I am definitely inefficient without it on tasks requiring focus
