Anyone applying to Stanford GSB? If so, what matters most to you and why?

Hey guys, I’ve recently started interviewing for a position outside my firm. I was wondering who makes the decision to hire? Is it the interviewers (MD’s, VP’s, analysts) or is it the recruiter that reached out to me who gets the final say? I’m crushing it with the directors, Vp’s but not really talking too much sith the recruiter. Please help

What level should I target for tech? Graduated UG in 2012 and MBA in 2019. Will likely be promoted to manager in the summer.

Is there a benefit of going into a small tech company out of big law (real estate practice area)? Thinking long-term impacts will be worth it, since tech is doing so well, and will continue to do well.

Moms my little one came home with scratches from daycare/preschool. He has also come before with another injury before that I let slide (minor) but I’m seeing a pattern. I’m very upset. How are the hours at Alvarez & Marsal TAG? Do they travel? How often do they work weekends or vacations/holidays? Considering the switch but I’m currently highly paid, only working 40-45 hours a week, have significant downtime, and don’t have to travel. However, I also probably have to work maybe 8 weekends a year and am generally prevented from fully disconnecting on holidays/vacations. Wondering if A&M TAG would be a step up or a step down in WLB

I got really fat during covid. Think 215 to 297. I dread having to go back to office. How do I get this weight off. It hurts to walk. The positive I passed the cpa exam and got promoted to manager. What do I do, you think I have enough time to lose like 50 pounds before everyone has to go back to@office?
