I interviewed for an L6 Sr program manager role and was offered an L5 program manager position at amazon. I have 5 YEO and a masters. I saw the L5 role only asks for 2 YEO. TC for the L5 is slightly more than I make now. Would accepting this be a good long term move? Would I be taking a step backwards?

I got an email that onboarding team will be contacting me.
But i didnot recieve any updates after this.

Been through my 5th on-demand video interview, and it's it's terrible again. I can't seem to become friends with this on-demand video interviews and I'm loosing my confidence. More and more companies are using this to screen out individuals and I can't to seem to get this right. It's like I know all how to do my job well but it's the fear of this video interview that panics me and breaks me during my interview.

My director doesn’t read my emails during the day and calls at 7pm to debrief his day, ask for updates (even tho I sent email updates), and reviews my emails/decks I sent while on the call. How would you phrase that you’re willing to work late when necessary but not for these “check-ins” that are not urgent? I live alone, been alone in NYC all pandemic, so evenings are the only time I can get dinner with friends esp while it's still nice out or do FT calls so this is an imp boundary for me
