Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Travel? Haha I m getting comfortable at home and continuing to setup / improve my home office
Once every month pls
Frankly, I just want a dog but can’t justify it due to the potential of travel again
Oh man if they gave us dogs and removed travel I wouldn’t even complain

My firm has started to start the conversations with us on how we view (and how we think our clients view) getting back on the road to be client and team facing again. They’ve pretty much made it clear that we likely will have a situation where most people continue to WFH but we may have instances where some do a shortened travel schedule for critical meetings as opposed to do M-R grind that we were all used to.
Honestly, for most of my clients and colleagues - doing our work remotely has been fine. Nothing has prevented us to still maintain productivity and efficiency. If that’s the case, we have to consider that going back to “normal” doesn’t have to be necessary. The occasional in-person engagement is good, but not necessary like before.
@A1 which is why I’m extremely bearish on airlines. Approx. 80% of revenue used to be from business travel..
