Hello Everyone! Does anyone have a connection at Netflix ! I am an author/marketing associate and truly my dream job is to work on the team that creates/produces Drive to Survive. I am a huge F1 fan! However, I am willing to start where I can and work my way there! I was laid off due to Covid and just trying to get back into the field and industry I love.
Can someone explain what “healthcare” is?

I want a therapist like Wendy Rhoades from Billions
Good for you! I've done that once before and if you got to that point, it was probably a very good decision.
A1- I've been there too. My advice is to actually discuss the topic with your therapist. Apparently there is actually a term for this in therapy and therapists are trained to deal with this. A lot of my good friends are therapists and most say that they are very impressed if a patient is with it enough to realize that this could be a good option. Sorry that is your situation. Good luck.
My issue was I was in damage control all week last week and told him I didn't have time to deal with the health insurance shit he needed done but I'd have it next week. He spends half the session bitching about it to the point where I had to tell him "Rob I fucking got it and like I said I'll do it for next week, but once again I had a (redacted, but it's a big fucking deal) to damage control and haven't had time" in a very aggressive tone and he backed off. Then he bills me for it regardless. Note that the first session him and I agreed to an insurance free price as well. I couldn't look past how I was just a number to him
So a "therapeutic rupture" is more like when damage has been caused to the therapist-client relationship and you address it and try to mend it. I think that this is what the term is that I had in mind and it may or may not be applicable to your case. One thing that I have learned over the years is that if you want to change therapists, you therapists should give you referrals to other people who could be a better "fit."
Sent you an email
I want to but I also don't want to have to start from scratch with someone new
Any idea what the term is?
Like I took two days off dealing with this shit last week and was expecting to discuss it with him but instead I get a bitchy lecture on dumb insurance forms that I told him I'd have for this weeks session
That sucks, P1- sorry you had to go through that.
Fuck therapy. I'm tired of people telling me I'm broken. I can take that $80 a session and spend it on a month worth of (redacted because don't want to be identified) classes and those classes clear my head and actually work. Bitching at a guy for an hour doesn't do shit for me.
OP- there is actually very good science to back up what you just said. The book the body keeps score discusses this science
