Question for you sales and saas guys. I work for a fast growing startup and we are billing around 200 K a month. I am in charge of the sales team and our CFO mandates that we collect ACH payment information on every agreement. The problem with this is we have to reel in micro deposit amounts from customers and it feels like herding cats. I’ve worked for three great tech companies and I’ve never had ACH nor have I ever paid for services with ACH. Is this a totally dated process?
Hey guys! Our teammate is going through a pretty tough time, I wasn’t sure if this would be appropriate to post, but seeing as though this is a sales group, and my man Braxton is a sales beast... I thought I could try posting and apologize later. If you can give please do, if you can share please, if you can pray please, please do. We’re so close to getting his expenses covered, and after all he’s done to show up to our team.. I’m trying to show up to him in my fullest capacity. Thank you!!

Saw this on LI, thought it was applicable to many of the posts I've seen about how PwC/D are trying to deny layoffs and say the separations are performance-based. http://www.forbes.com/sites/lizryan/2016/06/07/my-performance-review-was-outstanding-and-then-i-got-fired/#6227cb81746a
When I started working at 22 I started off with 15% of salary into traditional tax deferred 401k. I’m now 27 with 88k in my tax deferred account, and am thinking about converting it to a Roth account. I don’t know much, but is this advisable? Is it generally the case that is rather pay taxes now if I think I’ll be making more money later in my career, thus I’ll be taxed at a higher rate than compared to today? And when is the best time to convert? Sooner rather than later? When mrkts are frothy?
Has anyone switched from B4 to a smaller firm like BDO? Is there any real difference or is everything essentially the same and just not working with as large of clients and complex engagements?
Hi Sales Community - I’m moving from a Mid-Market sales position into Enterprise sales and would love to use this ramping period to enhance my skills. After being in sales for 4+ years I feel decently confident in my sales acumen but I never received any formal training or held an SDR role so I’ve always felt a bit underprepared. I was wondering if anyone has a good sales book recommendation that might be beneficial for me to check out as I head into a more senior role? Thanks!
Senior at Big 4 FDD vs Associate at A&M? Base is higher for my big 4 offer but A&M is higher in terms of total comp because of the bonus and will be compensated way more as I get promoted. Per this sub it seems like A&M is the way to go but wanted to get some thoughts.
I work for Deloitte as a software developer. I’m looking for a referral for google in Canada. Please reach out if anyone can help or knows anyone who can.
Why does the Big 4 pay their consultants so much less? Is it because our margins are lower or because of the partner pension plan?
