I’ve been working at my org for 2 1/2 years but I don’t see an upwards growth for me unless I go to law school but that is really expensive and it’ll take a few years. I’ve tried to seek promotion to Senior paralegal but I’ve been told I don’t have enough experience. I am curious about salary ranges for someone bringing 20+ years experience and 10 years specific experience, including lots of litigation experience. Chicago area. What is a reasonable offer?

Finally leaving my position at a nonprofit in DC and I didn’t think I would be so excited. The office has been closed to clients since the pandemic, but the ED decided that we HAVE to start coming in to the office for some reason, and had a stern talk to me that I need to be in at 10AM ON THE DOT, even if I work through lunch and take calls on the weekends. Started looking for a job the day of, and found one that is flexible and pays $15k more. Now why would I even stay?

I know nonprofits have to register in each state where they solicit charitable donations. What if someone from a state where the org isn’t registered makes a donation bc of something they saw online or on social media?
