Anyone else noticing a shift to “get the job done faster than possible” rather than following a standard timeline?

My last 3 projects have all been “fast track” which amounts to me ignoring the standard timeline tables and performing miracles to get thing done

Asking because, I am leaving IBM GBS, have told my designation as Senior software engineer ( offer letter had it) to the other company, but got to know that designation IBM will be writing on relieving letter will be application developer.

I’m currently being recruited pretty seriously for a in-vivo technician position in the auto-immune team, but I already have a job lined up at Envigo as a small animal sx tech. Salaries would be comparable (Lilly would most likely be a little more with bonuses), but if the culture sucks, I’d hate to burn a bridge with Envigo.
