I thought Irvine should have pretty good pay too but this surprises me. Even a private Healthcare company in El Segundo pays more than that for the same role but with even lesser experience and easier job duties...

How do you know when you should accept a job offer? I’m struggling with an offer I currently have - the whole package is pretty decent and I got along with the people I interviewed with. However, they were all 10-15 years older than me so I’m not sure how that will work out for me in the future. I’m also not completely sure if I want this job since it’s an area of accounting that I’m not familiar with, but at the same time I want to leave public before busy season.
