Most attorneys don’t look for apologies, they want correct actions taken instead. So I make sure that happens. Even if something slides through the cracks, which does happen occasionally.
No, I don’t apologize. I always proofread all that’s sent out before sent to an attorney. I’m just that way. Even if it’s just directly from me and I am OCD lol
I used to and then I’ve learned and have read articles about how it makes you look. I’ve stopped apologizing for myself or other people. It is what it is, mistakes happen.
I’ve also learned to trust and verify the information, especially when it’s important. Takes a few extra minutes but very worth it for a piece of mind.
Try thanking them for their patience or “thank you for catching that, I’ll fix it now.”
I completely agree. Very freeing to understand that and have attorneys who understand when it happens.

“Thanks for catching that. I’ve made a note for next time.” I try NEVER to apologize. There are a lot of phrases that you can use to take accountability instead (if you made the mistake.) Do not under any circumstance apologize for someone else’s mistake.
Absolutely. Love this advice.
You need therapy
Fear maybe. I would do the same but stop myself now and explain it was so and so who was tasked with the project. So not sure where all the anger and angst is coming from. Also I’m not a lawyer so— 🤷🏻♀️
Every day. I would rather the blame and criticism.
