I got promoted and finally make 150K which was my dream salary (I know it's not high by NY standards, but I come from a lower income household so I am grateful to be earning this). Accepting an offer in IBD, lateraling over from consulting. Opportunity of a lifetime for me so don’t want to lose it.
But timing is horrible. I joined the Army Reserves before this opportunity was on my radar. Interviewed over several months, got the offer, but shipping out in 1 month for training for 6 months.
