Currently have 35k in 401k and 22k in Roth with Vanguard through previous employer. New employer uses principal. Should I transfer my Vanguard funds to principal? Thinking of taking loan out cont.

In order to use towards a down payment on a house and avoid pmi. Vanguard doesn't allow me to take a loan against just the Roth and if I took it a loan through them, I would have to pay back my 401k with post tax income, so I would be double taxed. Thinking of transferring to principal and then applying for the loan. Is that a possibility?

what's the fixed rate?

For the Vanguard loan?

yes

It would be 4.25% if I borrowed from my Vanguard

like

Save $$$ so you can put enough down to no pay pmi. No loan. Stay at Vanguard - way superior to principal

My boss fired me because i ask for clarification on my employment right.

I got hired not long ago. I realise some of the employee benefits i was told (missing in the contract) contradict with what’s stated on the law. So i email the boss about it and ask for clarification. Immediately after the email i was fired.

Just want to make sure people know this and don’t apply jobs in this shady company- it is called UniQ Biotech, in Delta, BC, Canada

How would you allocate $200K today, knowing (1) this is in addition to your HYSA, investment, 401K.. (2) you have no immediate use (3) if we see a drop in real estate price in the next 1-2 yr timeframe, this could be part of your down payment for a house in HCOL

Good traders tend to be flexible. I can make money in all kinds of markets, being a bull or a bear. Today was a headscratching day. We rallied a lot farther than we should have. We bounced in place's we shouldn't have. So, I have to ask myself? What the hell happened? While I made money today, I should have made lots more money. Remember the tip that markets don't count Pre-NY Mondays. If I decided to do my from last weeks low as opposed to today's low. I'm bullish. Additional info in reply post
