Anyone have a chase sapphire reserve and have to file the delayed baggage claim? My flight lost 3/4 of my suitcases today and I’m confused with the claims website. It’s asking for the value of the items purchased as if the luggage is lost, but at this point it should still be considered delayed.

They have 50% of the volume and still lost luggage... incredible.

I think you got the wrong claim form. In my experience, the delayed luggage protection is a set amount. You buy what you need and submit a receipt - maybe they just want to know what was delayed so they can check it against the receipt?

My fiancé had delayed luggage once, but spare clothes in her carryon. Bought herself a nice new jacket 😂

My wife got a job that requires us to relocate to San Diego. We have never lived there and know little about the city. We are planning to rent. We stayed in a hotel in little Italy and really loved the vibe there, but it’s too expensive for us. Are there other neighborhoods with similar vibes - restaurants, bars, lively, good for walking, clean, safe, young, diverse and accessible that are more affordable? Please share recommendations. How much should we reasonably budget to rent a 2bd/2bath?

Hello,

The immigration firm(for the new company I’ve accepted offer from) reached out with a link to put in my details for H1 transfer. They specifically mentioned that they won’t support dependent immigration.
My wife is on H4, how do I go about her immigration requirements? Does she need a transfer or amendment on current visa once I get my visa transferred?
Thank you

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.

I’ve always been a big saver minimum 15% to maxing out my 401k since I graduated college. I’m married to someone who thinks 6% is enough and likes $$$ cars. Other than the cars, they dont really spend money. For the married 🐠, how do you have the conversation with them that what they are doing isn’t enough? I try to guide them and say you want the $$$ cars but the salary you have won’t get there and you’re going to have to find a job that gets them the salary…. Then the fight starts.
