Got one - not problem here with Lufthansa in Germany

Assuming you’re based in the US, and unless you’re flying first class all the time, I wouldn’t advise it. I also debated between the original cabin vs cabin plus and ultimately decided on the original since I didn’t want any chance of needing to check the bag in.

there are some planes that’ll fit the cabin plus in economy but only if you put your luggage longside in…which will then piss people off because you’re taking up more space than needed (it won’t fit on its side since it’s too wide).

This is very helpful. Thanks ! Think I’ll go with the regular cabin

Depends on what equipment you’re flying. Smaller CRJs no.

Yea crjs I figured. Any issues with gate agents making a fuss for normal aircraft like a320s and 737s

The regular cabin no, the cabin plus is a whopping 2-3 inches bigger. Depending on the airline and if you don’t do Asia travel you’ll be fine.

How do firms calculate how much parental leave to provide, either paid or unpaid. Or do they just pick a number, like “yeah they can get to know their kid in a few weeks and I couldn’t possibly have that attorney out for 12 weeks?” I’m at a small firm, no FMLA or state requirement. We get four weeks paid and four weeks unpaid. Would like to push for more but not sure how to argue costs side of it.

How much is appropriate for a restaurant gift card from an associate to a partner?

I’m in my 4th year at a small plaintiffs’ firm. Past two years I’ve received meager raises (5k) and terrible bonuses (3k). My boss prides himself on allowing me to gain experience so I have more courtroom experience than most attorneys with twice the experience. As I’ve applied for other firms, I’ve been denied interviews based on how my boss is perceived in the community. I’ve gathered professional references from opposing attorneys and other attorneys we work with but still can’t land. Help
