Any general insights and/or info on bonuses, which I understand are typically black box, would be helpful too. It’s all a bit confusing coming from US big law (which has lockstep pay and all associates are simply associates, whereas in london it seems like many firms have 3-4 levels of associates (not counting trainees)). How many interviews is too many? I’ve done 5 one on ones with different people in the practice group. They want me to talk to a few more, but I’m frustrated.
