A warning, i have been phished through the premise of a job interview.thats definitely a new low from scammers but verify interviews they plucked my info from indeed and through that got my info, when I got suspicious (after it was too late) I called the "hiring company" (was a real company) and they said i wasn't the only one getting duped. I got an offer at Meta as a 3-mo contingent CSM that pays 2x what I make now.

Two pros: 1) Making the jump from a non-tech agency role to FAANG can be tough, so this is a great oppo in that aspect.
2) I'm living in SF on a non-tech salary, so the pay increase would be incredible.

It’s possible I could move into a similar role @ Meta once this expires, but to be safe, I'd need to start the job hunt again asap.

Thoughts on the pivot & how valuable a short-stint at Meta is for future job hunt?

What do I do?
Just switched to a gud org with gud perk,pay,project work but My boss is the epitome of a**h*** reasons-
Onboarded me on a huge project (12 phase proj) with no KT, only gave docs to read from.
He was handling this proj till phase 4 but has completely withdrawn out without proper transition.
I cannot make decisions and my decisions are overridden by him.
I have 2 yrs experience and it's now my onus to negotiate with PPL in VP,EVP position and also handle testing & dev team.

If a firm has multiple openings that you’re interested in, is it a good or bad idea to apply to more than one position? I’m a third year interested in retooling from lit to general corp, but they prefer someone with 3+ years of corporate experience. They’re also looking for an M&A with 1+ years, so it may be easier to aim for that, but I’ve heard horror stories re WLB for M&A. Would still try it out tho bc I’m desperate to leave lit, but don’t want to make a faux pas. Any insights appreciated!

I’ve been approached my by company that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role.
