McKinsey & Company I did my final round with McKinsey today, and I I received a rejection call from the partner today. However, he said I did really great and wants to keep in touch with me. Relate all your experiences to their 13 leadership principles. Cases are simple - but be familiar with their product offerings and the economics of prime. Second everyone's opinion on work culture though. Having said that there are people who somehow thrive in those circumstances and it is an innovative company all said and done
Work culture is not good
Amazon is the worst tech company to work for. Crazy stingy. Every year, bottom 15% gets cut. It's ridiculously brutal. You can be a high performer for years but if you burn out (which is inevitable) you get cut.
It can't be that bad. Come on, consulting is not a cake walk.
Curious about this too. Work culture not good in terms of tech company standards (eg not enough free pizza?!) or consulting standards? 😬

What I would consider a pretty bad interviewer from my bschool just got an SPM job at Amazon, so in my mind anyone can get it
