Anyone know of a QR code generator that is free? Like completely free and will continue to work beyond a trial period? My firm is being cheap and won’t spring for QR codes on our business cards, so I’m gonna order stickers and put them on my cards myself.

If you just want it to go to a web page, you can do it right from Chrome. Just right click on the page and select generate a QR code.

Thank you!

You can also make a digital qr code with Chatgpt that you can show them on your phone.

Realtalk, when was the last time you exchanged cards or QR cides?

Other than giving one to the court reporter at a deposition, about 8 years ago.

Real talk: yesterday at a networking event. Before that, at my optometrist the previous day.

Vistaprint lets you print business cards with a QR code on them. I had some personal cards made that have a QR code that connects to my LinkedIn.

I believe that LinkedIn has this functionality, but I’m not quite sure how it works. Stephanie Marrone has posted about this on LinkedIn.

Any advice on how to deal with a partner/boss who is shifting all responsibility to me with zero guidance, no mentoring, and an unwillingness to discuss the issues? (Small firm, only associate under this partner and have been working at the firm for 2 years). There are an increasing number of passive aggressive comments from the partner who expects to be completely hands off once the case lands on my desk. Wants me to figure it all out despite cases being from different areas of law.

Transactional associate. Lateraled 6 months ago and one of the biggest pain points has been my new firm’s inclination to “hop on a call”, which of course requires every single stakeholder to join. The end result being every call has 25 people on it and nothing actually gets done because no one wants to ask a question that could come off as silly. It’s destroying my ability to get anything done during the day. It’s a complete performance and it drives me nuts.
