Hello all, I am learning DSA on scalar. My only dream company is Microsoft .for me package and level doesn't matter. Just development role so minimum sde 1. And optional if possible wfh. I have 7 years of experience in DOTNET. I am NOT much confidence in DSA. So I need help and guide and support how can I join Microsoft. I’ve heard good things about Tensile and folks at my firm think highly of them, but other than that I don’t know much. HF compensation is pretty levered to performance and the “comp culture” of the firm, but for myself and peers at established top-performing SM funds (~4-5 years post-undergrad) the typical range has been ~400-600k+ for the past couple of years
If you're good you can make 7 figures and have friends that have gotten there multiple years. Most get let go after a few years of underperfornce but if you're young it can be a fun thing to try.
Question for you all - do you have any indication of what comp might look like at a ~1B AUM fund for someone with 2YOE post MBA? Chatting with a smaller fund
