I interviewed for Data Analyst role at EY, it went well and the job sounds great, but I'm a bit hesitant to leave PwC because I really like the firm and I'm just 8 months in my job as an associate at a subgroup of ITS that has some focus on technology and analytics but it's mostly tax compliance.
I do want to transition to data analytics but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go to another big 4, or maybe just look for a position in industry.
Any advice or similar experience?

There are several variables that I'm aware of:
-Location (NYC and SF pay the highest, then HQ, the Richmond and Dallas)
-Business Line (SWE pays highest, then BA and Product, then Agile/PM/etc are all clustered towards the bottom)
That said, I believe a Product SD at HQ is going to have a midpoint of somewhere in the vicinity of $220 base + $35 bonus + some amount of RSUs (~10% of base, I think), though I'd want a C1 employee to confirm--this is all just what I've put together from my own research here and on Blind.

Just curious for D and SD for Dallas product or BA
Somewhere in the ballpark of 25%. From what I've seen, C1 does 1x, 1.5x, and 2x target bonuses, with the majority of folks getting a 1x or 1.5x bonus. I think the 2x bonus maxes out somewhere around 30% for D level and 40% for SD, but don't quote me on that.
$250 would likely be at the very top of the range for SD at HQ (if not above it), but in the range for SD in NYC or SF.
What about Dallas specifically in one of the product groups?
Are you looking for SD comp there, too, or a different level? I've researched M/SM/D/SD comp for BA and Product, can't speak to the other business lines or levels.
