That sounds high for a S1, maybe at PwC though. Does that include bonuses or just base?
130 is indeed the base for S1, for internal transfers too
External hires don't get a bump at PwC. It's a cohort system. 130k is the S1 cohort for PwC for HCOL. So def 130-140k with bonus

Sounds v high for S1. M1 usually starts 150ish
Think M1 at PwC is around 170
In NYC S2 was $135k when I joined. M1 will be at $173k
It’s 130 max for s1 at PwC vhchol

PwC is on a cohort system. I don’t think there is any negotiation room unless you bring something to the table that the firm desperately needs (which is unlikely in this market)
