Least hoops if you go through the bank which holds your business checking account

Every bank has their own rules on documentation requirement. So no one here will be able to give you a straight answer. It’s a shit show.
I have heard smaller community banks in the middle of nowhere are faster than the big banks. Bank of America, Chase, Etc require you to have been a customer before feb 15 and are inundated. But I have a friend who called a random small credit union in Oklahoma breeze through without ever having a previous relationship.
And I’m sorry to say but if you’re just starting now, the money will probably be gone by the time you submit.
Be very very careful taking the money. Banks, not the fed, determine forgiveness. And they each have their own rules too. The law was very poorly written, and the SBA issues new interpretations almost daily. Forbes wrote a great piece on this a week or two ago. Written by a tax lawyer.

I JUST got my PPP. I applied the very first hour the applications opened at Bank of America. It will take time but do yourself a favor and create some sort of alert / tag on emails from Republic and do whatever it says to do the very minute you get the email.
This was sent to me:
First, I would recommend checking with current banking relationships to see if they have a PPP application. Then, since there is no penalty for multiple applications (only one would be accepted), I would suggest applying with a group of preferred lenders that we are working with. These include:
Republic Bank (https://www.my...ief-program-0 ; Note: must simultaneously apply for a business checking account when you apply for the PPP loan.)
Paypal (https://www.loanbuilder.com/ppp-loan-application)
Kabbage (https://www.ka...rogram-loans/)
Fundera (https://www.fundera.com/ppp)
Lendio (https://www.lendio.com/covid-relief/sba-paycheck-protection-program-loans/)
Intuit Quickbooks (quickbooks.intuit.com ; Note: ONLY if using Quickbooks already.)
FYI if you are getting unemployment you can’t get PPP.
